What are eligibility criteria

If you have multiple product or content offers, you might want to choose which offer is shown to which customer. Eligibility criteria are the set of rules you set to redirect customers to the campaign or offer that has the best chance of converting them. Or for content offers, that would provide them the best value.

You can choose to show it to all customers or only to those who match the criteria you set up. You can add multiple rules to create more complex eligibility criteria. For example, you can show A funnel to customers who have spent more than $100 and have been a customer for more than 6 months.

How to set eligibility criteria

Eligibility criteria can be set up when you are creating a new campaign (Thank you pages or One click upsell). On the first step you should see a section for setting up your eligibility criteria

By default each new campaign is set up for all customers. But you can change it by clicking on the "Matching customers" radio button. It should bring the rules list. You can add unlimited number of rules to your campaign. You can also choose if they should match all of them or any of them to qualify. The below screenshot demonstrates how would you set up your criteria if you want this campaign to be shown only to the customers who have spent more than $ 5,000 on your store.

Some common use cases or examples could be:

  1. Customer country is United States

  2. Customer is tagged with "VIP"

  3. Customer is not tagged with "B2B"

  4. Customer total spent is greater than $2,000

  5. Customer has placed more/less than X no. of orders
